Why do you love your work?

Quoting a former President/Engineer, "There is a fascination of watching a figment of the imagination emerge through the aid of science to a plan on paper.  Then it moves to realization in stone or metal or energy.  Then it brings jobs and homes to men. Then it elevates the standards of living and adds to the comforts of life." 

Favorite project:

Varian Building 3 Seismic Upgrade.  It was a big project and the first time my name appeared on Submittals, RFI's, Job Observation Reports, etc. and I realized I was not only contributing, but shaping the project, and enjoying the responsibility that comes with it.

Special Interests:

Home automation projects, family trips to the outdoors, and watching sports including Indycar and F1 racing.  Plus, finding all-you-can eat crab places.
