Why did you become a structural engineer?

I have always enjoyed building things, solving puzzles, and strategy games - structural engineering is a natural fit.  

Favorite project types:

It's hard to pick a favorite.  I enjoy the variety of project types that I have the opportunity to work on: new buildings, existing building modernizations and seismic upgrades, and small projects for specialty clients.  Any project where I can use my training and experience to improve the project and add value for our clients.

Special Interests:

My family, snow vacations, beach days, hiking, games, and LEGO.
